What is GRIDREP and how does it work?
Gridrep consists of plastic grids that just click together. They are simply laid across the surface of the road, which immediately stabilises the road. The cells are then filled either with cement of crusher dust.
What is it made of?
GRIDREP is made from recycled plastic, which is great for the environment as it gets rid of rubbish plastic.
How strong is it?
Look at the picture on the right. That is a fully loaded Readymix mix truck. And it is riding on empty grids. If the grid can support that weigh empty, imagine how much more it does support when filled?
Who will show us how to use it?
We will, at no charge! You decide who you would want to do the work, either in-house, or using a contractor or using the local community. We will train that person in the use of the GRIDREP system, at no charge. Not only that, but we will also supervise the entire project, from beginning to end, again at no charge. It is important to us to make sure the high standard of GRIDREP is kept safe.
